Pax Christi Chorale is a vital and ambitious 110-voice community choir that champions great choral music and performs a wide range of repertoire, from the great historic masterpieces of the oratorio tradition to newly commissioned works. Drawing on a broad base from across the GTA, the choir has built a loyal following, and continues to broaden its community and deepen its impact as a leading arts organization in the city. We value partnerships and connections to enhance our knowledge, expand our reach, and strengthen relationships within the choral community. Our overarching aim is to experience the deep joys of choral singing, and to communicate that joy to our audience.
Pax Christi Chorale is delighted to share the news that our Artistic Director, Dr. Elaine Choi, has been awarded the prestigious 2023 Leslie Bell Prize in Chorale Conducting by the Ontario Arts Council. Congratulations Elaine! You can read more about the award by clicking HERE.
